Viewing PDFs

I am seeing a gray screen

This is a widely reported bug with Adobe Reader 9.3 and certain versions of Windows. Download a new version of Adobe Reader at

It is also possible to use different programs for reading PDFs within the browser and downloaded PDFs downloaded to the computer. PDF is an open standard and many applications can read them. If you are using an application other than Adobe Reader, please update it to the latest version.

PDFs download instead of opening in a window

The default behavior depends on the browser you are using and the user’s preferences. You can change it in your browser's preferences. You can force a file to download by right-clicking on the PDF icon and selecting "Save file as" from the menu options.

Viewing Videos

Videos require Flash plug-in to play on most computer. Download Adobe Flash Player at

iOS devices (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch) use an alternate player and do not require Flash. Note that some older videos have not been re-encoded yet and are not available on iOS devices.

Broadband internet connection is highly recommended.

Finding Items


The main TornierOR navigation guides you through Specialty, Therapy, Solution and Product to display the resources relative to that product.

Basic Search

The basic search function, located in the gray bar below the logo sill search the entire site for keyword match.

Advanced Search

The advanced search function can be accessed through the Advanced button below the logo. Each selection refines the search and eliminates irrelevant options from the other filters. You can clear all the filters by clicking “Show All”.


Once you find an item you want to go back to regularly, click the "Add to Favorites" button and it will be conveniently added to the list in the right column.
